I am British and reside in England my wife is a Canadian National living in Canada.
My wife will be sponsoring me to become a permanent resident of Canada.

We have filled out the application packs (Application to sponsor & Application for Perm Residency) and they are both here in England waiting to be sent to the correct place for processing.

I'm just a little confused as to whether they should both be initially sent to Mississauga or if we can send them both to the London office?

You must send the entire application package (both parts) to Mississauga.

Thanks, we were under the impression that if we could submit to London it was preferred by CIC and quicker.

No - definitely not the case. If you send the application to London it will be returned to you unprocessed. All applications are sent to Mississauga for first stage processing. Mississauga then transfers the application to the appropriate visa office.
