Gees, this is soooo confusing!!!

OK, my sponsor is Canadian citizen(in Quebec) and I am U.S. citizen. We recently got married in Quebec. I am now gathering all the application forms while waiting for police forms to be returned to me from the FBI.

My question is....once all forms are filled out....where do we send them to?

I want to do an outland application.

Do we send all forms(sponsor and spouse forms) to Buffalo office?
Or do we send all forms to the Ontario office?
Or do I send my forms to Buffalo and my partner(sponsor) sends his to the Ontario office?

Please help....
Thanks,
Ken

All forms both sponsors and applicants get sent together as one package to Mississauga. From there it will transferred to Buffalo after the sponsor is approved :)

Most important thing: are you applying from INSIDE Canada or are you staying in the US during the waiting? Where do you have your residential address? This will determen if you need to send the enveloppe to Vegreville or Mississauga.

Don't send anything to Buffalo directly, if you're applying outland that will be done by CIC when Mississauga will be done with sponsorship part of the application. If you're applying inland, Buffalo will not have anything to do with your application.

Hi Ken,

You and your partner need to send all your CIC forms for the application and your support material together in the same envelope (or box) to CIC Mississauga (if you are applying outland). (Nothing should be sent by you to Ontario.) The CIC office in Mississauga will forward your application to Buffalo for you, after the sponsorship is approved.

When you get the letter from CIC saying the sponsorship was approved, you then need to send a copy of that with the completed Québec application to the MICC in Montréal. There is a little discussion in more depth over here and a link for the Québec application:

Good luck!
