Hi

I had sent all documents to CIO Sydney without the FBI clearance and also received the AOR a month back. And now I just received my FBI clearance from FBI and I want to mail it. Does anyone know where to mail my FBI Clearance?
Do I need to send it to the Intake office(CIO, Sydney) or the Visa Office (CPP-Ottawa)?

Any good advice is appreciated.

Thanks!

your AOR should have instructions on communicating with CIC. In any case, once you receive your AOR, CIO-Sydney is done with your file - you should send it to the visa office (CPP-O).

Thanks Jes. But I wanted to make sure that if I want to send it, I am sending it to right place :)

Meanwhile I called CIC customer service today and told about this. They suggested not to send FBI clearance until requested by Visa officer. Do you know if it is good to wait until I hear from Visa officer or should I send it to CPP-O?

Any advise on this is appreciated.

Thanks

it will be easier for CPP-O if you wait until it is requested. That way you will be sending it to a specific VO.

I put a note that I applied for FBI PCC in my original application package.

Does sending my FBI PCC later on request will delay the processing time?

probably not, but processing times vary by individual.
