Where is ECAS Updated

I have a curious question where do they update the ecas in the local office where the file has been transferred after the sponsorship approval or in Canada, i mean to say do we need to check the update on Ecas as per canadian timings or local visa office timings once the file has been transferred.

i always get updates on a Tuesday, i log on to e-cas at exactly 8.30am EST. maybe there's one unit that updates the whole thing in Ottawa.

or maybe the consulate or visa office that has your file updates the info and periodically these updates/changes are uploaded into e-cas by one department of CIC like IT. but it's just a theory i have based on my experience with our application.

one example, we sent notice of change in address to LA consulate on a Friday, got a reply confirming that they updated our records on a Monday, it was only on Tuesday EST 8.30am that e-cas was updated with our new address.

My eCAS has not been updated at all since September 2, 2010. I have received my acknowledgement from the VISA office (Havana), but on eCAS my file can't be found. Is this normal????

This is happening with me too..It used to show after sponsorship..then 3 weeks later...GONE ! They don´t show anything anymore!!!!

For me it gets update on Monday night,

mines has never worked.! But i got AOR in september.
