6B: When you first came to Canada to live ?


I came to Canada in 2003 studied for 2 years and i moved to USA in 2005.

I got PR in 2010 and moved to Canada in 2010.


Which date should I give for 6B?

I would too, as I think they ask about the date when you come to Canada to live, i.e. became PR and arrived to Canada.

why dont you write an explanatory letter stapled along with this assessment highlighting the differences. That's what I did and they seemed to accept it, in the sense that they sent me the discover Canada book. I took a printout with the wrong details filled in, highlighted the wrong data and showed them that these are conflicting with the facts. Then I printed out the screen with empty fields, hand written how it events have actually happened and mentioned the residence calculator should accept a scenario like this too. My 2 cents.

It should be 2010. In 2003 you had come for studies. CIC is not looking for that. From the time you got your PR and then subsequently started living in Canada as a PR. My 2 cents.
