Not that current processing timelines should be regarded as accurate predictions for the future. I imagine that there is a glut of PR renewals right now from post-OB407 RQ recipients and others caught in the record citizenship delays. I would not be surprised if the PR card timeline continued to lengthen.
Is it possible to renew a PR card in person? I haven't seen any procedures for that.Yolka said:I just wanted to know if you applied for the PR renewal in person or mailed your application to CIC?

I am going to renew my PR card soon. I just wanted to know if you applied for the PR renewal in person or mailed your application to CIC?
Thank you!
CanuckForEver said:If you mail it through regular mail, then it goes to a PO box versus if you use a registered mail then a CIC employee will have to sign and receive it which will be your proof of delivery. If in PO box God only knows how long it stays in there.
