When will I get my PPR? ( a thread for those waiting PPR ONLY)

i am in Dubai we have started our process in may 2008 . we have done our medical on April 2011

Thats a long time. I started my process in november 2009 and did my medicals sametime as yours.
 
did my medicals in May 2011

still waiting for PPR ... they always say we have requested information from other government offices
 
We applied in Sept. 2007 and submitted our Med. in July 2011 waiting for PPR.

Hi Baloo,

Just for curiosity sake, do you know the difference between ROLF (Right of Landing Fee), RORLF (Right of Residence Landing Fee) and RPRF (Right of Permanent Residence Fee). Well, it's still relevant to this thread as you can't wait for a PPR without having to comply first with one of the above.

In my case it's RPRF as it is the term stated on the MR letter, but I keep on hearing ROLF from my other colleagues.

in the link if you click on any of these 3 terms it will take you to its definition

basically, they're all the same ... RPRF is the current terminology, other two are older and not used anymore

hi guys if any one can help me i would like to know how long should i expect to wait as me and my wife already did our second medical back in april 2011
and we waited as we were expecting a new baby so we forward them the baby's birth certificate on 15/7/2011 and they sent us his medicals form on 8/8/2011 we did the medical on 13/8/2011 so guys based on this info what do you expect when i might get the ppr ????

Same thing for me, the medical results have been received by the Canadian Immigration since Oct 24 th 2011, London office. No reply till today.
