Hi guys, looking for advice here:
My mother has a PR application under the parent-grandparent sponsorship program, where I was the sponsor. In October, we received an IRCC letter asking for my mother's passport, so that she can get a COPR. So she sent in her passport to IRCC through her local VAC in China.
However, earlier in October (just two weeks before she received this IRCC letter), she submitted a visitor visa application through another VAC in China, as her old one is about to expire with her old passport.
If my mother gets the COPR on her passport, she won't need a TRV anymore.
Now we are not sure what to do. Should we just wait till IRCC figures this out themselves? If not, what is the best way to inform IRCC about this situation? Will they reject either one?
Thanks friends!
