When browsing the IRCC pages I came across instructions on one page that the PR card renewal application can be send six months before the PR card expiration, and then on the other page that the application can be send nine months before expiration.
What is correct or recommended? Six or nine months?
I am asking for my son. To add to the confusion his PR card will expire in September, and he will be eligible to apply for the citizenship in March. So for sure he will apply for the citizenship in March, but when is then the best time to apply for the PR card renewal?
