When to pay Application fees !! Please help

I have already submitted $550 to CIC Sydney earlier and they have asked me to send the full application to Buffalo. Do I have send $550 again to Buffalo or should I just send the mail I received from CIC Sydney. When I have to pay $490 for Right to Permanent Residence. Can I send $490 with my fullapplication now to Buffalo ?? Please help me. Thanks a lot !!

send the receipt you got from CIC sydney, no need to pay it if you had paid it earlier. Some people who add their family members later because of marriage after they applied to CIO (for example) pay that 550 at this stage. In some offices, they are sending $490 now itself, others are not. I think at Buffalo, you can do either.

CAD 550 per person is processing fees and paid to CIO NS Sydney. Do not worry about this fees when yu send the application to Visa Office
CAD 490 is Permanent Resident Fee (PRF) and is paid to Visa office (Buffalo)
PRF can be paid along with full application to Visa office or when it is requested along with Medicals

Yes, sending the RPRF earlier is better.

you only send RPRF fee when your case is approved by local visa office. dont send it earlier stage

It's better if you get approved, if you get rejected, it will be some time before you get refunded. Up to you if you want to send RPRF before they ask or not.
