hi, my husband lived in different countries after the age of 18.after coming back from those countries he never visited them nor has any intention to do so.we applied thru SAP n most probably ll ve to submit docs. by mid or end of 2009.As i assume tht getting PCC from many countries ll require a lot of time n effort , so can we get PCC from those countries now which he has never visited again n has no intention to do so in future. also if we get these results now ,they ll be atleast one n a half yr old by the time we ll submit them to cic,so will cic accept them n ll they remain valid.thanks.

U have to submit PCC from only those countries where you have lived more than 6 months after the age of 18.I believe the PCC should not be more than one year old.U might want to find out how much time it wud take to receive the PCC's from the respective countries. If they say a month or two add 100% factor of safety and apply 4 months ahead of submitting your docs, so that u revceive ur PCC's on time when u want to send ur application.

Should read the instructions from the office where where you are applying, most state that

"Police certificates and clearances
You and your family members must provide us with a police certificate issued by the authorities of each
country in which you have lived for six (6) months or more since reaching the age of 18. Certificates must
be originals and issued within the last three months."
