When to get medicals done

Hi All,

I am EE - FSW candidate. I got ITA and am in process of collecting all the required documents.
My application consists of myself, my wife and my kid.
Do i need to do medicals of all 3 before submitting the application, or as cic has mentioned that wait for communication for the medicals to be done after submitting the application.
Location: India Delhi.

Better to do upfront medicals to avoid delay.

when u submit ur application u need medicals done or else what will u upload for medicals? once u finish ur application an automatic check list will be generated depending on ur application and u will have an upload in front of each document. So in short do ur medicals upfront. EE does not have anyother option they will reject ur application saying its incomplete

It is a bit confusing on the website, however, there is a placeholder for you to upload your medical exam proof (main applicant and spouse) and you cannot submit your application without uploading that so I assume it has to be done before paying the fees and submitting everything. As soon as you get the ITA you should schedule the medical exam with one of the doctors on the panel of physicians provided on the cic website for your country. After that is done you can upload the confirmation provided by the doctor. I did my medicals yesterday and that is what I did. Best of luck with your process!
