When to expect Passport after sending it to Ottawa

Hello!
Just wanted to get a sense of when I should expect my passport.

Email from IRCC received - March 1st
Submitted to CPC Ottawa today - April 1st (long story - Canada Post lost my last passport and had to get a new one)
Expected to be received by April 4th

I sent it in using Xpresspost and included a prepaid envelope(but forgot to take a picture of the tracking number). I will need the passport as I’ll be taking an exam by April 22nd. Is it reasonable to assume it’ll get sent back by then? How do I track it now without the number?

1. You should just about get it if you're receiving it in Canada. It is a bit tight though..
2. You can't track it without the number. Do you have the receipt? If yes, try going back to the post office.. maybe they can look it up for you.

The receipt from Canada post should have the tracking number.

I sent my passport last week, status updated to approved on my profile on Saturday and the return envelope hasn't been activated yet
