Hi to all,
Please could someone tell me when they start counting the time started in your 2nd AOR. I was told in the AOR that it will take 18 months to process my application. I sent in full application in June 2009. The Visa Office started processing my file in June 2010.

When should i start counting the 18 months?

Waiting for a reply

18 month is approx max. period mentioned by VO.
if your status is "In Process" since June 2010, you should expect medicals or additional document request in next 1-2 months (by end of Nov. 2010)
good luck.

On 4th of Aug 10, my status changed into "IN PROCESS", and 18th of Aug, the VO had issued the letter of medicals.

So please do check with your post or send an inquiry, as it should not take that much of time.

Cheers..

That is a good option, but i do not know hwo to do it. I heard you need to ask someone in canada to do it for you. I have nobody in Canada.

How can i do it on my own?

Thanks.

Yes.. u can apply on ur own.. only the difference is of CHARGES.
If u have any relative or friend, who can apply on your behalf, you will have to pay only 5$. Else u will have to pay around 35 to 100 $ , depends on your kit.

Cheers...

If that is the case then i should be a little patient. They received it in June 2009. I think i should give myself 2 months again to see if i will receive medical or updates for additional documents.

So it is already 1 year and 5 months , if i started counting from June 2009. I am waiting for the next update latest by November and i will write to them again.

Thanks for the imput.

there is some problem in ur file that's why they took it on hold

So my file is on hold, i have no idea. What should i do in this case. If it is an interview for me to explain , then they should let me know , if they need additional documents they should also ask for them.

I can guess the problem Deepi, lets try to see if it can be fixed now or i should just wait.

I guess, because my employers change names of the institution where i taught and also number change and deans, i had informed them and given new contacts in an e.mail and also i had started asking for new reference letter with new contacts and new deans names. I have these papers with me now,

Please advice me if i should send them or just wait. I did not wanted to sen since they have not asked me for the documents.

Please someone should advice now.
