I have completed my medical in Jan 2009 and IO inform me that they received the medical result on 20 April 09 and said they will contact me once my file have been reviewed. I don't know when my passport can be requested. How long can my file be reviewed.
if everything is OK (medical/background check, etc), you will receive PPR request within 4-6 mos. this is my experience in Buffalo, NY office, i'm not sure on other offices.
