When is the best time to get Police clearance done for Us

Can you please suggest me as to what is the right time to apply for US police clearance?

Before we submit the EE profile?
Is it after we submit the EE profile?
Is it after we receive an ITA?

In case if we get the US police clearance even before we submit EE profile, how long will it be valid?

In case if we get the US police clearance even before we submit EE profile, how long will it be valid?

If you a resident of the USA when you obtain the PCC, it will be valid for 6 months.

If you are no longer a resident of the USA and you obtain the PCC after you left, the PCC is valid indefinitely.
