when does the week start for a student to work as a part time for 20 hours in canada?

I have a problem related to counting of the no of hours in a week and how do we know when will the week start and end ,for example: is it from saturday to friday or from monday to sunday?

and what if a person is completing his total 20 hours in two companies and they both have different week starting ?how will the person calculate then the number of hours he worked ?

can we do jobs in more than one company as a student to complete 20 hours?

It doesn't matter when the week starts in each company. You can only work 20 hours in a week.

In most cases, Canada treats a week as Sunday to Saturday. Don't work more than 20 hours.

Thanks for helping me out.But can you tell me how do i keep in mind the hours that i worked .Basically means , on which day should i start my week from sunday to saturday or from saturday to friday which is of my comapany week?

It should be no more than 20 no matter the day of the week you choose.
