when does cic starts to process OWP application?

hi,
CIC received my application for OWP and PR last dec 21,2015, but they said they started working on my application on Feb 3, 2016.
now my question is, when did they start processing my OWP? dec 21 or feb 3? Thank you!!

First date would have been application of receipt. Just acknowledging that they received it. Most likely started working on it at the second date.

so the date that says - working on application received on dec 11, 2015 on cic, it means that they are working on application they received on that date or the ones that they opened on that day?

Where are you getting the dates from? Does it say on the CIC website that they are working on applications from december 11th or did you receive an email saying that?

Either way, if it is on the website, it means they are beginning to start looking at applciations after december 11th. If you received an email then they started processing yours in feb, like you mentioned above.

yeah cic website says they are working on applications that they received on dec 11. and no i havent received any e mails from them yet...

The OWP progress isn't noted anywhere.

If the application and OWP were received Dec 21, 2015 the OWP process was likely started shortly thereafter.

Hello! I am wondering how much did you pay for the OWP? do u pay $155 for work permit application and another $100 for open work permit holder?

HI, SORRY, i cant remember how much exactly we paid for, i paid 5 grand including the processing of my pr, and the OWP.
