CIO in Nova Scotia received our application on the last week of May 2010. It is now more than 2 months since they received it, but still no email or any other reply from them.

Is it time to get worried? Or how long more should we wait before we start to get worried?

Also, any advice on what to do?

Thanks.

There is nothing to be worried at any stage. If all your experiences and qualifications are genuine, nothing to fear. Also CIC, Nova Scotia is busy with clearing pending backlogs from Feb 2008, so they might take some time. Generally, the first AOR comes within 2 months or so. So wait for another 15 days and do check with your postman if he has undeliverd any mail.

Have faith and be patient, God is with all of us.

Best of luck.

Got mine after 3months so just wait and relax..you will recieve yours soon..

Thank you for all the support, it is appreciated.

Please do note it has been MORE THAN 2 months already. It is estimated we have one final week to go, before the 15 day extension you mentioned is reached. What can we do after waiting til then and still no news?

Do we have to check with the postman? Doesn't CIC send the notice via e-mail?

And God forbid, but when will we find out if there should be any errors, lacking information or mistakes in the application?
