When CIC ever sends you mails, usually what do they send? Do they send any of your documents or just a NOTE? (except the case your package is returned).

What I mean here is:
I am currently living in the US, but that's not my home country. I am going to move right after I apply but I don't know where to move yet. So I may use my home country's address as the mailing address. If CIC just sends a note to me, that's ok because my parents can scan it and email me. But if CIC sends some documents, my parents will have to mail to me, that takes time and costs money.

So please tell me usually what you get from CIC, a note or documents?

Thanks.
