When can I start driving?

I live in alberta and I have already got myself a theory book.
I am 5 months into the process of my spousal inland app and once I receive my OWP am I then able to obtain a learners license or do I have to wait until I receive my PR?

Hi Leon. I have a visitor record and I believe I do not have to extend it once again since I included an OWP with the initial inland spousal application? My current visitor record is running out in under a month - do I have to extend it?

I only went to the registry to pick up a theory book, didn't think too much about when to apply, but I really wanna start ASAP.. I was supposed to do this years ago

I suggest you go to the registry with your visitor record and some proof of being sponsored. May help if you bring your husband along and ask if you can take the written test right away. If they say no, you can try another registry. They are all privately run so some may say no and another may say yes. If you don't have any luck, then try again when you get the OWP.
