When can i get "implied status"

Hi,
If i send my application to one of the PNP programs, will i get implied status if my IEC will be finishing soon?

For example:

I'm in Calgary, work in Calgary, prepare everything for AIPNP, send application and wait for decision, i know the waiting time is long so i'm afraid my currently WP can expires.

Do you already have a nomination from the province?

No, of course not. I'm just trying to prepare plan B if plan A will fail.
I'm still in Poland and my POE expires in february 2021. In february we're moving to Canada (if borders will be opened etc)
That's why i've a lot of questions about... everything.

Sorry - not a mind reader and your post wasn't that clear.

You don't get implied status from submitting the application for the nomination.

Once the nomination is approved, you generally qualify for an open work permit. Submitting the open work permit application before your IEC expires would give you implied status.

Okay so i need to be invited and then i'd get implied status. Everything is clear.

Btw - do you know how long people usually wait for invitation in Alberta? Is there in web information about it?

You technically do not get implied status through the nominatin itself - but once you submit the OWP as a result of the nomination.

I don't know how long people are waiting. Suggest you read through the discussions in the PNP section of the forum.
