Just putting together docs for eAPR. I gather from reading the forums that at some point I'll have to choose which visa office we're applying through, though I haven't been asked this yet.

Is this correct? And will our passports have to be sent to that office?

We're currently in the UK (where we're citizens). We will travel to Canada after submitting the eAPR but before it will have processed. We will be there and in the USA until it is processed, when we will just border hop to land as PRs.

If we have to choose a visa office, should it be the UK or Canada? And will we have to send our passports if we're from a visa exempt country?

I think you can't choose your visa office. You are allocated a visa office.
