When am I eligible to apply for Citizenship?

Hello everyone,

I just need to check when I qualify to apply for my citizenship.

-Entered Canada in April 2016
-Refugee Protected person status granted in June 2016
-Open work permit granted in August 2016
-PR granted in Feb 2018

So do I have to wait for 36 months from the day we entered the country or from the day we were granted PR?

You can count half of the days you spent before becoming a PR.

You can count half of the days you spent before becoming a PR.

Only up to 1 year tho.
So under current rules eligible to apply in Feb 2020 if you do not and have not left Canada.
