What's this email mean? My passport pics and pr pics where lost

My passport pics and pr pics where lost by Canada post I orginaly had gotten ppr December 31st


I emailed Ottawa about it and today I get this? Is it generic reply? Or?

Normally after pandemic, if you are in Canada they will email you about virtual landing. You may not needed to send passport to Ottawa.

I wonder why Ottawa asked for it? I know the pics I sent where north of 6 months old(heck they are I think 11 months old now almost)

Dont worry. They are just returning passports without a visa or COPR and putting in queue for virtual landing.

Well to be fair us passport didn't have to be sent so was just pics of it

Did they ask you to send in a photocopy of your passport instead of uploading a scanned copy? Have they gotten back to you yet?

I called em and they said they dont need anything right now and orginal email I got sent from Ottawa asked me to send a physical copy of my passport and pr pics


I'm thinking they sent the email in error etherway they said on phone and in email they will contact me later so now I'm back in waiting mode it seems
