what's the significance of 2nd AOR

Hi friends,

What's the meaning or rather significance of the 2nd AOR we get from the VISA office. Does it mean some thing similar to first AOR which means initial eligibility criteria is met ? Or is just an acknowledgment of the application pack ?

Hi,
That three block letters explain it all AOR: Acknowledgment Of Receipt of your full application by the visa office. This second AOR contains an immigration file number which will allow you to check your application status online. This is where you will get to know step by step process.

but the first AOR has gone a bit more beyond the meaning of the letters and it also indicates that they initially find our application eligible too.
