Whats the condition of supervisa?

Its Sumit. First of all, I'd like to thank to the members who responds our thousands of questions regarding immigration.

I'd like to know the supervise status condition. My mother in law(lives in Bangladesh) applied last Dec'19 when my wife was pregnant. She also submitted her passport in VFS, Sylhet, Bangladesh. She submitted her all necessary doc plus medical report to authorized medical clinic(which is for Canada immigration). Last time, she submitted almost a month ago. Since then, we haven't heard anything yes/no. Is the decision going to be delayed due to covid-19?

I already have extended her insurance 2 times. Can anyone let me know what's the standpoint of CIC for supervisa issue? Any idea how long CIC might take to decide(approval/rejection) if everything is alright from applicant's side?

Yes - all application processing is either delayed or on hold due to COVID-19.

Since there's a pandemic and these events are unprecedented, it's really impossible for any of us to guess when you may have a decision in your mother's application.

Definitely not closed. Just delayed.
