You can check your status online. My advice is to forget about the application after you have mailed it and not follow it up every other day to maintain your own sanity. Processing speed is not in your control so give it ample time and focus on your current job. Regular updates on this forum will give you a feel of how your peer group is progressing.

processing times depends on the file, backlogs and the VO Office. so, just sit back and gather info.

after, positive eligibility CIC will send in an EMAIL, this will be the only medium of contact for briefing your PER.
