What's needed to work in Canada?

Hey all, my wife landed on the 15th and got her sin number at the airport. Does she need anything else to start working or can she start working asap?

Also, for her health card, should she send the application for it now or just in 3 months when she's allowed to finally get it? (Ontario has a waiting period).

She has a sin number, she can work!

You can apply for it before hand but won't receive it until the 3 months waiting period is up. I'd recommend registering for it earlier just so it is done and you will get her card right when eligible and will have it then if it is necessary to use it immediately.
