hi

I have CSQ (Quebec selection certificate) with NOC: 4122 (post secondary teaching and research assistant) because I have Masters degree.
I was thinking to apply for federal but when i read the information about 38 occupations list, there is nothing listed under 4122. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t12366.0.html
I am hoping to complete my PhD at the end of march 2009. Then i can have 4121 status, probably.

Now my question is:

After completing my PhD, should i have to ask to Quebec office to change my status on certificate from 4122 to 4121? or federal office will do it automatically?
Should i apply now for federal or wait till the end of march and attach my PhD degree along with the application? what you suggest?

thanks

QSW isn't changing anything. Only FSW is. If you have a CSQ, why do you want to throw that away to apply federally? Just apply for QSW. Application forms at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/quebec/apply-application.asp
