My friend is BC PNP nominee that applied for PR and already waiting ECOPR.

She plans soon to go on maternity leave from her job while she will still have her job when her maternity leave will be done.

Is it mandatory at this point to notify BC PNP about going to maternity leave?

Yes I would inform them because it is a change in your work status and likely income. That doesn’t mean that it will change the outcome of their application.
