What would happen to my visitor visa

Hi. I am holding a multiple entries visitor visa Valid till year 2019. I am now in Canada hoping to start working and also preparing PR application. Therefore I need a working visa.
Would the working visa affect the visitor visa?
Would the PR application (in-land) affect the visitor visa?
