The article really tells you nothing. Just says what target PGP levels are which are just targets and are subject to change for a variety of reasons. Everyone needs to be be patient. PGP2022 just closed so people will likely have to wait until late summer early Fall to get information, In general people should always be making back-up plans because a huge amount of people likely qualify to apply if they keep similar EOIs and there are still a fraction of spots based on demand. Getting PR for parents is not guaranteed. If people will only immigrate if parents can also get PR people should be reevaluating whether immigration to Canada is the right option for your family.
