I have applied to be a sponsor for my husband to live in Canada permanently. We have been married 10 years and have 2 children so I can't see it being a problem. We came over as a family in July from Australia and I have since applied for the sponsorship. I am unsure of his current status while in Canada now and if there is anything else he needs to stay here while the application is being processed. He arrived here in July on his Australian passport- assuming that allows him 6 months, no visa is needed to enter. Do we need to get a visa in the meantime while our application is being processed?
What visa do we need while waiting for application to be processed?
