Filling out the CRC points calcualtor. question 7 askes if you have a certification on qualification for some trades?

Is there a specific list of the trades that qualify?

many thanks

7) Do you have a certificate of qualification from a Canadian province, territory or federal body?

Note: A certificate of qualification lets people work in some skilled trades in Canada. Only the provinces, territories and a federal body can issue these certificates. To get one, a person must have them assess their training, trade experience and skills to and then pass a certification exam.

People usually have to go to the province or territory to be assessed. They may also need experience and training from an employer in Canada.

This isn’t the same as a nomination from a province or territory.

Yes - it would be under the 82 group - but only at a supervisory level.

A regular (non supervisory) landscaper is not classified as a trade.

Hello, I have done my Working at Heights certification and I am working as a Construction Project Coordinator. This certification is mainly used for supervising all construction trades working on site. But my NOC belong to 0711 - Construction Managers. IRCC customer care representative told me that I can use this certification for express entry. Can someone please tell me whether it is correct to use the certificate to claim points? I belong to CEC and not FST.
No, this won't. This is classified as training rather than a trade certification.
