I put my PR application a year ago.I live in another country which is far from my native country.I will be visiting home soon.I want to gather my documents in advance while at home. It's here that i need your advice. What papers should I have them notarized before hand? I want to make use of my presence back home and in the process save myself that stress of using a second party to sort my things out...Pleeeeeese advice..what documents should get notarized? Thanks so much for your contributions.

Did CHC ask for some documents? You will have to wait for that. The office sends a check list of required documents.

I have used a consultant ...
so what i notarized is my native citizenship certificate, passport, birth certificate, for personal background information
for school transcripts, one of them is seal by the university; the other post-studies done outside of canada are notarized by my country embassy; so far no problem.
proof of relationship also need to be translated into english and notarized
So far i have done all these
