What to do with US credit card

Hey all, thanks for helping out wannabe Canadians

For those who are moving from the US to Canada (permanently),

Did you guys close the credit cards you got in the US?

My wife closed her credit cards but left her Chase chequing account open (no monthly fee) so we can use it whenever we're back visiting her family in the US, instead of our Canadian cards/accounts!

Did you guys close the credit cards you got in the US?

If you plan to use the US cards in Canada I would only keep cards that don't charge foreign transaction fees. Those can add up quick.
