What to do now? Oh no!

Hi everyone, I just need some advice.

I sent in my application to be a sponsor for my husband back in December without the FBI results. It took forever and I actually got his FBI clearance at the end of March. I sent it in but went on cic website and it said that a decision has been made and they sent out a letter on March 27. It looks like they received his police clearance on March 31. Does this mean my application is now closed? I'm so scared of opening the mail.

Btw I forgot to mention that it is being processed at the Ottawa office for Outland sponsorship. Thank u

I think your fine as its the second stage of the application where the PCC's are needed. I would say the letter in the mail is most likely 1st stage approval for the sponsor.

I suspect that this just means that you have been approved as the sponsor (which would be about right, if you submitted the Outland application in December).

There are two stages and each one has a `Decision Made', so perhaps you are half-way there.

OH dear... You are right. It looks like I received my sponsorship approval via email on March 27. It wasn't even in my main mailbox! It was in the updates section. I almost gave myself a heart attack. Thank you everyone.
