Hello. I am family physician, and have 2 years experience in my country. I'm also academician.

I read forum threads but i cannot found the what to do for work as doctor ( family physician or GP)

Can anyone write thread links or write steps? Exams, IELTS, residency, intership?, 1 year experince rule etc.
I see posts from 2009 but I read something that writes laws changed in 2015.

Also new, updated road map will be precious for all docs over forum even internet.

Becoming licensed as a physician in Canada is a long and expensive process with no guarantees. More of a chance if you want to go to underserved rural areas as a GP and some provinces have a special program for that after you write your licensing exams. I assume you don't come from the few countries where it may be easier for you to get licensed like the UK, Australia, US, etc.

Would Google internal medical graduate canada. Many IMGs never get a spot and have to find another career. Many physicians have come to Canada and have been shocked and disappointed when they find how difficult the process is. Don't want to be negative but trying to paint a realistic picture.

Thank you for reply,

Yes i am not from commonwealth or us, i am from Turkey. And it is not problem that working in underserved rural areas.
I’ve read that in so many web sites it is so hard work as doctor, many people disappointed and to find residency positions. I’ve read many stories about ‘pizza delivery guy IMG’s’.

But all i could find personal opinions and advices. These advices pretty valuable thank you but i am seeking for objective steps. Like;

1. Ielts score
2. Mccee
3. Provincial registration
4.
