what to do after getting fired with brand new closed work permit ??

little background

been in canada 5 years now on work permits
came over my renewel date last year november
got nominated by the goverment of saskatchewan for the sinp program
applyed than for a new work permit for my current employer and had to wait 3 month at home with no pay for the new work permit

new permit showed up monday and after letting my employer know that i can come to work he told me my position got filled and they have to let me go

what am i doing now since the new work permit is only for his company ?

also having the issue that i do have job offers in alberta already but payed and send out all my permanent resident papers to buffalo already and payed the fees
trying to find a way to not loose the just about completed resident application which should be done by the end of this year


any help in my situation and maybe even legal laws if my old employer can even do that after letting me sit 3month at home would be apreciated

Look for another employer. Hopefully the new employer will wait till you get your WP.

what about the legal issue ?

i mean he signed me papers 3 month ago telling me he eploys me and the day before i would start tells me my position got filled and now there is not work for me


would i be able to get unemployment right now ???

than talking to a couple buddys here telling me that he should also owe me money for the 3,5 years i worked for him already and than letting me go for no big reason other than that he filled my spot

Well if the processing of your WP took longer than s/he had expected and the position needs to be filled so that is probably why s/he filled up the position. S/he may owe you separation pay or vacation pay depending upon the stipulation of your contract/job offer.
