Leon and all:
Almost 2 months passed after I landed in Calgary as an AINP nomination beneficiary. There are plenty of Walmart or restaurant server jobs here. But they are not the jobs in my professions. I have submitted 30+ applications but no response. The main reason is that there are many new grads got awarded job offers after they graduated this June and the jobs open only for internal applicants to switch from part time to full time due to they are union members. Virtually for external applicants we are hard to get in. But situation in other province is different and much better than in AB. Now I got interview from a company in SK.
My question is, is it ok for me, an AINP nominee to move to SK to work after landed in Calgary just 2 months? Literally, the real question is: a provincial nominee can move to another province if they cannot find the job in the province nominated them? Is there any minimum period of time the nominee must stay before they can move to another province to work? Any problem down the road to renew PR or applying for citizenship? I know CIC is tracking the interstate mobility for PNP PR holders, but CIC did not claim that this move is illegal. I am just afraid. Any information and suggestions about this dilemma? Thanks.
