I am a Cameroonian resident in UAE. I moved out of my country in April 2017 due to the Anglophone crises that hit the country late 2016. The crises which is ongoing has made it difficult for me to return home. What are my chances of being accepted as a refugee in canada

Hard to say what your chances are of being accepted. You will have to prove that you have personally been affected by what is happening. To claim asylum you must either travel to Canada on a TRV or be officially declared as a refugee by UNHCR or the state and be selected for resettlement in Canada.
