What status am I currently on?

Hi all,

I'll keep this short. I'm confused at to what status I'm currently on. I was on a closed work permit with my job, but over the Christmas break I received my PR Portal email and have now sent off my picture and all of the documents. It's currently "In review with the IRCC".

So right now I'm waiting for my PR Card, but have I obtained PR status yet?

I'm hoping to leave my job asap, so do I have to wait for the card to come through to do that?
