Thanks a lot mates.. Here goes my post as i posted it as separate thread

Dear All,
Hope you are doing good.. I am applying for a masters degree in business to any good and less expensive university in Canada but for the last couple of weeks what i got through my searches is that i am unable to match the requirement criteria of the universities for the admission to the said course of studies as almost all of them require GMAT 550 for admission to any business related studies.. What i actually want to ask is that is....

1. Is it possible to apply for business degree without GMAT and if i do wether my application would be considered and accepted.?
2. Is there any one who has done the same and has got an acceptance from any university.?
3. What universities should i consider if i do not want to go for GMAT thing.?

My background is as follows
MBA CGPA: 3.3
MA Political Science: 2nd Division
BA Humanities: 1st Division
FSc Premedical: 79%
IELTs: 7.0

Please help me as i am quite confuse as to what should i do next... Your help would be greatly appreciated

1: you must fulfill all university admission requirements as competition is very tough so there is seldom a chance of you getting admission without gmat. however universities exempt you from submitting ielts in most of the cases if you show them a language proficiency certificate issued by ur university
2: i think if there was anyone who has done the same without gmat he would have happily answered you.......
3: finding relevant universities is your job brother......... because you understand your case well. you have good gpa, good ielts. so about the other requirements start from the universities ranking below in canada and then move upwards......... orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr if you dont find anything then go for college admission............ as i am presuming that your main aim is to settle in canada......... hence go for the college for doing a specialized certificate in a business related study............but first of all research research and research. its your duty, we have already done research for our programs and are fed up with this hahahahhahahhahahahhaha yaaaaaar thorrrri khuwwwari hai par at the end of the day you will be happy. so take care and remember in your prayers. but as you have done mba already plz consider some university course as your first choice................

do not skip on GMAT most good universities require GMAT and doing MBA from a low level university will make it difficult for u to get a job......what is an MBA degree good for without a job.....there has been lot of threads on this topic search on the forum to get more information

Farhan,,, Thanks a lot for your advice... Lets see what happens as i have already been doing my research but the most difficult thing as far as i think is to make up your mind for one particular choice when you have been provided with multiple alternatives.. Whatever lets hope for the best..

Mead you are right that MBA without a good job is worth nothing but actually the thing is that i am not good in mathematics and logical things thats why i feel like i wont be able to get some good score on GMAT.. But it had to be done then ill have to consider the option... One more thing that i would like to ask both of you.. Farhan and you that in another thread Regina had told me that if i apply for MBA second time i wont be able to get a study permit.. and that MBA from Pakistani universities is considered as MBA and not a bachelor equivalent... What do you think is she right and should i change my degree plan too... if admission to MBA does not guarantee me a study permit then why should i go for it..!!

choose the most suitable and logical option for your study brother otherwise you wont even get the admission in a canadian university, the competition is very tough esp for masters.... as you have done m.a in political science as well, i would suggest you to go for some course in the legal side, or history........ you can understand your situation best
