What should I check first for Test invitation ?

in my case, the email came first. 5 to 7 days later, it appeared on Ecas.
I never received a mail.

Don't you already check your mailbox and email account anyway? And I'm going to guess you're probably checking ECAS at least daily already too, right?
So it doesn't really matter, unless they send you notification via carrier pigeon, so be sure to keep your windows open too.
