What needs to be scanned in colour......

.....and what's OK in black and white?

I understand that the police clearance certificates have to be scanned in colour, but what about the rest? Passport pages too?

If certain things are acceptable in black and white, it makes things better as I can resize them easily.

All documents must be in colour. Only if the original is not in color then its fine .You can use online tools like smallpdf etc to reduce size.

Thanks a lot. Any resolution requirements? I know that pics need to be scanned in 600 dpi. Just wondering about the others.

That's not true. If not otherwise stated, everything can be in b&w. I think only the pcc they ask in color.

They ask scan of the original for every document thats being translated. I provided all originals in color. And everything fits.

But FBI pcc is not in color, the FBI PCC document itself is black and white so what is the use of color scanning?

Not sure which stamps you are talking about, there are no stamps , not even one on the report. There is nothing in color, all black and white.

I think they are referring to visa stamps in the passport. As mentioned earlier onky PCC in color - rest all can be BW

LOL, why would somebody refer to Visa stamp as PCC? PCC is a completely different thing and Visa stamp is a completely different thing. ANyway..

You have to upload the original documents. If it is coloured, make a coloured scan. If it is black.and white, than you do not have any choice. Very easy and simple. Many people are rejected because they did not upload the original document.Same effort need to scan in coloured. Staying at the safer side is better
