Hi folks,
I and my spouse are non-Canadian citizens and we are on Work Permits in Canada. We also have a Canadian born Child (with Birth Cirtificate and Canadian Passport). My spouse is applying for a Student Permit in Canada (inland application). She is in Canada on Spouse Open Work Permit. So, She answered the following questions as indicated :
1. Are you accompanying a family member who has status in Canada?
She answered this as YES. Is this correct?
The help says this
BUT Definition of "Accompany" says this :
"Accompanying you means that this person intends to come to Canada at the same time as you."
I am confused!
2. Assuming I answer it as "YES".
It asks me to upload.
Family Member Proof of Status (required)
Whose status am I being asked to upload? Mine (as my spouse is applying) OR Our child's OR both?
My confusion is that it does not say "All Family Members"

As my spouse is going to stay with me and I am in Canada as a worker, it should be YES, IMHO?Are you accompanying a family member who has status in Canada?
Accompanying a family member means you will be staying with a family member who is already in Canada as a visitor, worker or student.
Accompanying family member: A spouse, common-law partner, dependent child or grandchild of someone who is still dependent on their parent, who plans to immigrate to Canada with the principal applicant. Accompanying family members are included on the application.
