What is transit VISA? i need clarification..... plz share

I am planning to travel from Hyderabad to Canada... while booking my flight tickets I have observed a note: "Transit Visa Required"

Any one any idea about this Transit Visa information please share.

Is it compulsory to take a Transit Visa just for a stay of 15 hours in the Airport at Germany and at London?

For London the government website insist you to get transit visa. It is visa which says that your traveling to other country via this county.

Nope it is not required.

But if ur onward flight s not confirmed then required.

Also if ur stay is more than 8 hour thn u will need it.

u can get it at airport also.

It would be much better to talk to the Airline or the embassy of the host country to confirm.
