regarding tickets and transit visa....Pls help...urgent

Hi everyone,

I am flying from Delhi to Vancouver on 19th but while booking the ticket, i am facing few problems:

According to agents:

1. I need a transit visa in Frankfurt if the stay is more then 12/8 hrs....is it true ?

2. I need a transit visa if my stay in more then 4 hrs in london ?

3. I need a transit visa if i am entering US airport even if my stay is for 5 mins...??

I wanna board a lufthansa flight but due the germany transit visa i can not ......please let me know if u have any better option under 50k..

Why don't you book Cathy Pacific ?

1. No. You only need Transit Visa if your connecting flight is via two Schengen countries like Germany and France.

And aman is right. For Vancouver don't go via Europe. Prefer Cathay, Japan airlines etc

hey the cost of cathey pacific flight is 60+......and the cost of lufthansa -frk - vancouver is 46k

now layover time is more then 12 hrs in frankfurt so do i need a transit visa ?

Brav take Cathay will cost like 65K if you travel on 18th 93K if you travel on 19th ........!!!!!!!!!! you gonna land in 24 Hrs

Check JAL as well might get a cheap one !!!!!!
