Thank you iam_toby... I am currently in Canada and planning to visit india and was thinking of doing upfront medicals. That's the reason I asked if someone who already did this in bangalore will answer this.

Any way, I will call the doctor office and check with them..

Do you now how to do address change ( online I am not able to change to Indian address )

I am still in Canada and I haven't check about upfront medical's in bangalore yet. I am sorry I don't have any info to share.

I did check with Elbit and Fortis in Bangalore, answers were negative.
I am not able to catch doctor over phone to get clarified, I am always ended up speaking to their assistants they are not much informative
... any one else tried ?

Both elbit and fortis are Emedical enabled. You can do upfront medical at both places.

Yeah they both have emedical enabled, but when I contacted them for upfront medical they says they can do it only after receiving letter from Immigration office ( which will have EMI number ).. I am not able to directly contact doctor though, please let me know if any one did upfront medical at this location whom I can contact.

Hello!! this is my first post, i am also trying to submit my pr application this month- feb'14. i was wondering if anyone did get the upfront medical exam done without the immigration letter in bangalore? any leads are helpful.

i called both ebits & Fortis and they saying i need the immigration letter.

Hello Guys! Many of the post in this forum helped with gather lot of information.

However i could not find an answer to upfront medical exam process. And Elbits and Fortis were not helpful giving lot of info on the phone.

Today i went to Elbits and enquired with the reception desk with the printout of the form

Then they enquired with the doctor and allowed me to have my medical done. It took about 2-3 hours. Once i got them convinced, it had to be done. The staff was very helpful.

Items required
1) Passport Original
2) Passport first and last page copy
3) 4* Photo as per the cic guidelines(80% face)
